How to foster women empowerment among young girls in India (in English)

For most of the Danish population, gender equality is already a fact and the gap between genders is almost non-existent. However, this is not the case in many other countries across the globe. Particularly in India, women are still very much affected by gender stereotypes and exclusion from many activities in their society.

To fully achieve gender equality and fulfill the Sustainable Developmental Goal Number 5- Gender Equality, it is necessary to raise awareness on the living condition of thousands of women worldwide. It is not enough to have equality in a limited number of countries, but globally. To spark interest towards Global Development, during this webinar Anali Makhija, CEO of Sehgal Foundation India will talk about the main challenges that young women still face daily in rural India. She will guide us through the work of her organization and the tools they have been implementing to successfully empower thousands of girls across the country.
