Om kurset

Dato: 20. september 2023

It is important that we include and activate all minds in STEM – young old, male and female, from the Global South and elsewhere. In this webinar, we will talk about my career path, click chemistry and science education. We will also discuss how diversity is vital for science and innovation, about access and opportunity privilege and how these must be overcome so that there can be a future for us all.

He was awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the groundbreaking development of ‘Click chemistry and biorthogonal chemistry’. Throughout Meldal’s career, his research has had innovative influences on methods in peptide and combinatorial chemistry. His involvement in method development of solid-phase peptide synthesis as well as development of the CuAAc Click reaction have become mainstream methods for application in bioorganic and organic synthesis.
