Galtrup Musik- og Idrætsefterskole is situated on Mors, an island in Northern Jutland. The school is the oldest  existing "efterskole" in Denmark, established in 1879. But the school today is fully up to date with three gyms for activities like gymnastics and different ballgames. We have well equipped music facilities with a studio with possibilities for recording your own music and a new concert hall/assembly hall.

We  offer 8th, 9th and 10th grade education for 120 students, half girls and half boys. They all live together with a roommate.

Galtrup is a boarding school for young people between 13-18.

Through the learning process we aim to create active, independent, responsible and positive young people. We emphasize an engaging community based on tolerance, mutual trust, openness and respect. Important things are well-being, happiness, humour as well as physical activity and academic improvement.
